American Public University is an accredited educational institution consisting of two online education institutes: American Military University and American Public University. This university was established in 1991 and opened new horizons by providing distance vocational education, and also distance learning for a mobile group of military learners with special needs. Over the years, many undergraduate and graduate programs have been added to help prepare students for leadership roles within the military and transition to post-military careers.
