Manhattanville College is a private coeducational college in Purchase, New York. It was founded in 1841, and moved to its current location in 1952. It is located near the village of Harrison in Westchester County. Today it is attended by approximately 2,700 students. The college’s mission is to educate them to become morally and socially responsible leaders of the global community.
The college cares about its international students and treats them equally with their fellow local students. In addition, it provides them with a special office to assist them in many ways, such as immigration issues, guiding them in cultural adaptation, connecting them to services and opportunities available on campus and in the broader community, and educating them about their rights and responsibilities at the college.
