Schreiner University

Shriner University was founded in 1923 and has since been offering students a personalized, integrated, and comprehensive educational experience that prepares them for purposeful work and purposeful living in an enriching learning environment. Schreiner University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to Grant Certification (SACSCOC), the university also holds accreditation from the Texas Board of Nursing, and is approved by the State Board of Educator Certification (SBEC) for teacher certification programs. The university is distinguished by providing study plans based on specific career goals, as it contains small classes in which teachers can care for students individually, in addition to university research directed by the faculty.
