About University
The University of Malaysia Sarawak was established in 1994 and is located in the middle of the South China Sea. It is considered an international innovative university and is the first public university in Malaysia established after the announcement of Vision 2020. The university was ranked among the top 200 in Asia in the university rankings 2017 according to the QS World University classification. It was also awarded the prestigious MS ISO 9001:2008 certificate for excellence in basic administrative processes. It was also awarded an award for its role in developing the workforce in the Maritime Safety Committee through programs Strategic education and training for its personnel.
