The University of Western Ontario or the University of Western Ontario is a public research university, located in the city of London (Ontario), and is one of the oldest universities in Canada. The university covers an area of 1.6 square kilometers of land on the North Branch of the River Thames, and the main campus consists of 75 buildings. The university expanded into lands outside the main campus. Students can obtain conditional admission to study the English language for the bachelor’s or master’s level in many specializations, including: arts and humanities, education, engineering, health sciences, nursing, information and media studies, business law, law, medicine and dentistry, pure sciences and computers, social sciences.
